What is a lab-grown diamond?A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond that is created in a high-tech laboratory rather than formed deep underground like natural diamonds. Despite being grown in a lab, it is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond. That means it has the same crystal structure, hardness, sparkle, brilliance, and fire. Lab-grown diamonds are made from pure carbon atoms that bond together under controlled conditions to form a diamond crystal, the same way nature does it, just much faster. The entire process typically takes 6 to 12 weeks, compared to the millions or even billions of years required for a natural diamond to form beneath the Earth’s surface. These diamonds are often referred to as man-made, synthetic, or created diamonds, but make no mistake, they are not imitations like cubic zirconia or moissanite. Lab-grown diamonds are authentic gemstones that undergo the same cutting, polishing, and certification processes as mined diamonds. At Auralisca Jewels, we proudly offer lab-grown diamonds as a beautiful, ethical, and sustainable alternative, perfect for those who want modern luxury with a mindful story. |

How are lab-grown diamonds made?Lab-grown diamonds are created using one of two advanced methods:
HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature): Recreates the high-pressure, high-temperature conditions found deep inside the Earth to grow a diamond from a carbon seed.
CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition): Places a diamond seed in a chamber filled with carbon-rich gas. The gas breaks down, and carbon atoms layer onto the seed to form a diamond.
Both methods produce diamonds that are later cut, polished, and certified, just like natural diamonds.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds? Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are 100% real diamonds. They are made of pure carbon arranged in a crystal structure, just like mined diamonds. The only difference is their origin. one is formed in the Earth, and the other is grown in a lab. |
